Will I be able to pop out to the shops if I forget anything?
Please keep in mind that Zingela is a remotely positioned bushveld lodge, on the banks of the mighty Tugela River. There are no shops within an hours drive, so try not to run out of anything vital.
What medical information will I need to know about the event?
There will be no medic at this event. Should you require an evacuation out of the valley and to a hospital, you will have to claim this expense from your medical aid. Please remember to bring your medical aid cards with you.
Will I need my own hydration pack?
Yes, absolutely!
What do I need to bring for the accommodation?
Bath towels will be provided but please remember to bring your own swimming towels and loads of Sunscreen! It can also get a bit chilly on the banks of the Tugela so please bring an extra blanket if you are in tented accommodation.
What if I have special dietary requirements?
Should you have any special dietary requirements, please let us know when you complete your entry and we will do our best to accommodate you.
How do I get to Zingela if I do not have a high clearance vehicle?
A shuttle at the cost of R200pp return from Doreens - half way down at the end of the good road - will be provided. Make sure to select this option on your entry form.
Do I need to sign an indemnity form?
Yes. Please sign the attached Indemnity Form and bring it along with you.
